Brief: Clients require larger kitchen and dining room plus extension of bedroom at first floor level. The original scheme involved building a new double garage and converting the existing into a large kitchen and utility room. The presence of mature trees on the site with preservation orders prevented this scheme moving forward. The present scheme involves extensions to the rear and internal remodelling of the existing house at ground floor level.
Accommodation: New kitchen, dining room, breakfast room and utility room at ground floor level; enlarged master bedroom at first floor level.
Contract value (est.): £50,000 - £75,000 (ex. VAT).
On site: Spring 2008.
